The answer could not be a simple sweetener swap.
A mithai can avoid refined white sugar and still leave its nutritional architecture almost unchanged. It can replace cane sugar with honey, jaggery, agave, dates or syrup and still ask the body to respond to a heavy serving of carbohydrate, fat and calories.

For us, Intelligent Indulgence™ means that pleasure should still feel generous, beautiful and deeply satisfying, but the recipe behind it should be more thoughtful. That is why ROHIT'S took years to build.
Thousands of tests before launch
Before launching, we made thousands of tests over three years. We tested, tasted, failed, reformulated and tested again. Some versions were too dry. Some were too sweet. Some were not sweet enough. Some did not carry the emotional richness we believe mithai must have.
The challenge was never simply to make a healthier sweet. The challenge was to make mithai that still felt worthy of being given.
That work did not stop at launch. Since launching, ROHIT'S has continued to evolve because innovation is not a single moment. It is a discipline. We have kept listening, learning and improving, culminating in the new version launched in June 2026.
That version reflects everything we have learned about taste, texture, satiety, sweetness and the experience people expect from mithai.
Patents filed for a new kind of mithai
ROHIT'S has filed patents for its innovative mithai because we believe this is more than a recipe update. It is a new category: a low-calorie, low-glycemic mithai designed to preserve indulgence while making the full serving more thoughtful.
Our ambition is bold. We are working to create the world's healthiest mithai, not because mithai should pretend to be a health food, but because the foods we give to the people we love should reflect more care, not less.
Why ROHIT'S feels satisfying
ROHIT'S may feel richer, denser or heavier than some people expect from a small piece. That is intentional.
Our goal is not for someone to eat mindlessly and keep reaching for more. Our goal is for each piece to feel complete. We want the experience to be indulgent, satisfying and considered, so pleasure does not have to depend on overconsumption.
That is one of the reasons protein, fiber, nuts and fats matter so much in the formula.
The formula works as a system
Sweetness comes from allulose, monk fruit and stevia rather than cane sugar, honey, jaggery, agave or syrups. These ingredients were chosen to move away from added sugar while still creating a satisfying sweet experience.
But the sweetener is only one part of the story.
Micellar casein provides protein and body. Prebiotic and soluble fibers contribute structure and help make the serving feel more complete. Almond flour, almonds, pistachios, ghee and almond oil bring richness, depth and the familiar satisfaction people expect from mithai.
Each ingredient has a role. Each ingredient has to earn its place.
The nutrition is part of the design brief
Each 20-gram piece contains approximately 60 calories, 7 grams of total carbohydrate, 2 grams of dietary fiber and 4 grams of protein and only 2 Net Carbs per serving.
